24-Hour USACE EM-385 Fall Protection Competent Person Safety Training

We offer a 3 day, 24 hour training program aimed to educate employees about the hazards associated with working at heights, the regulations that apply to USACE government contracts, and the responsibilities and safe work practices for the role of Competent Person. This course covers:

• Fall protection equipment including selection, inspection, proper fitting, and equipment limitations. 
• Responsibilities of all roles from the program administrator down to the authorized user.
• Identifying all hazards related to working heights, including over water work and dropped object prevention and mitigation.
• Applying the hierarchy of controls to eliminate and/or control hazards to reduce risk while working at heights.
• Written rescue plans and proper use of rescue equipment. ​
