Personnel Transfer Basket/ Swing Rope (1 hour)
                         

This course is for personnel needing to transfer "to and from" offshore vessels. It develops an awareness on the proper procedure when using a personnel transfer basket or a swing rope.

Course Objective:

• The Do's and Don'ts of offshore vessel transfers.
• Proper techniques in the use of a swing rope.
• Proper techniques when using a personnel transfer basket. 

The student will have to demonstrate the ability to hold their body weight and proper procedure when transferring using a swing rope.
